What are your future plans for Simply-Fit?

Our Burien location is a beta test site. We are experimenting with ideas we feel may work well. We are always open to new ideas that improve what we have to offer and welcome yours. We are considering the possibility of potentially franchising once we have become comfortable with our model.

Why are you not open on Sunday?

Our belief in God has motivated us to keep our fitness center closed on
Sundays. In the Bible, in the book of Exodus 19:9-10, we read: "Six days
shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the Sabbath
of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor
thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy
stranger that is within thy gates:"

We understand that not everyone has the same beliefs we do, and we respect that. If you feel that you need to workout on Sunday, we understand. However, we will be unable to provide our services on this day.

What kinds of equipment do you offer?

We currently have:

• 2 Startrac 4500hr Treadmills
• 1 Precor Recumbent Bicycle
• 1 SportsArt Recumbent Bicycle
• 2 Precor EFX Elliptical Machines
• 2 StairMaster Steppers
• Full circuit or Paramount XL Series Selectorized Machine Weights – Including Leg Extension, Leg Press, Seated Leg Curl (Tuff Stuff), Abdominal Crunch, Curl Machine, Triceps Extension Machine, Bi-Lateral Pull Down, Seated Row, Chest Press and Shoulder Press.
• 1 Olympic Bench Press
• 1 Maximus Smith Machine
• 1 Squat rack
• 1 Hanging leg raise/dip Station
• Dumbbells ranging from 5 to 75 lbs
• A personal cardio room. This room provides a DVD player and a 27” flat screen on the wall with a library of 20+ exercise videos and enables you to isolate yourself from the rest of the facility. You can use the stability balls, steps or free weights as well to help vary your workout.
